I’m not always the best at doing nothing. Although people around me have growingly begun to point out that I may need to. 

Today being New Years day, was beautiful. My house brought in the new year together starting with scrambled tofu on muffins and potato gems, followed by a paddle in the kiddies pool and vegan burritos for lunch. After, I retreated to read for a few hours and had intermittent snoozes while finishing Moby Dick. Ill feel great once this book has finished, it’s been quite the epic adventure and the writing has challenged me somewhat also. I plan on reading the Count of Monte Christo which is even longer. 

I’m grateful for a new year. My new years eve was spent with some of the best people I know and getting to know new people and I’m very grateful for that also. 

I want this year to be healthy, and to be full of adventure and to see myself committed to being adventurous and to do the things I love doing.
